Move to Legendary Trails and have thousands of acres in your back yard! Beautiful Legendary Trails is located just paces away from one of Marion County's most loved area - The Cross Florida Greenway! This beautiful trail system stretches from the Gulf of Mexico to the St. John's River and occupies much of the land that was formerly known as the Cross Florida Barge Canal. The corridor is 70,000 acres and 110-miles long and encompasses many natural habitats for wildlife, birds and Florida native plants. It is a multi-use recreational and conservation area that is enjoyed by people from all around the world for hiking and equestrian trails, bird watching and is best known for mountain bike trails.

Equestrian Trails:
The equestrian trails of the Greenway Trail System are clearly marked for novice and expert horseback riders. Riders on the Greenway will experience a collection of landscapes that capture the natural beauty of Florida. The trails offer two different difficulty levels - slow, relaxing rides and more challenging areas with a variety of obstacles. The Greenway is also well known for it's wagon trails.

Santos Bike Trails East:
The Santos Trail Head is the primary entrance to Florida's most developed network of mountain bike trails. Withover 100 miles of trails with three levels of difficulty, the system is designed to accommodate any mountain bike rider - from beginners to experts. This includes beginner dirt paths to "The Vortex" Free Ride Area with large drops and BC inspired raised wood obstacles.
